Key points:

Gender – Where appropriate I have changed the “He” text with:

Page 2 “May the Holy Light illuminate our meditation”

Pages 9 and 11 “may the Holy Light liberate us from death”

This was after communication with Fr. Dorathick as he said amongst other comments “would be acceptable if it helps communicate the spirit of the prayer more clearly to contemporary readers” and “The original Sanskrit texts use expressions that point beyond gender.”
